Save On Airbnb Bookings

It is an awesome incentive to go on a long-term trips, and explore a new city without any rush.

Did you know that when you book an accommodation via airbnb, it is sometimes cheaper to book for the whole month rather than for 2-3 weeks?⁣⁣⠀

Airbnb bookings are already way cheaper compared to the hotel rates, but on top of that many hosts offer 10% to 30% discount if you rent place for over 30 days. With that said, service fees often stay the same regardless of the booking dates. As a result it is sometimes cheaper, or at least the same, to book an apartment/room for 31 days (and receive a solid discount), than for 20 days (and pay their full daily rate).

⁣Isn’t it an awesome incentive to go on a long-term trips, and explore a new city without a rush?

⁣⁣Bonus tips:

  • if you are using airbnb accommodations, pay EXTRA attention to the reviews about specific place you are planning to book, as well as about the host in general (sometimes they manage more than one place), and

  • make sure that this host is verified by airbnb. This platform is absolutely great, but still remember that you are renting from private people, not a touristic company or hotel, not to mention fake announcements (very rare, but happens).⁣⁣⠀
