Favourite Beauty Products for Belly Dancers

Here are three ideas of beauty product that could be a perfect gift for your belly dance friends…

Although the main holiday season might have passed, but birthdays and other celebrations are all year long! Here are three ideas of beauty product that could be a perfect gift for your belly dance friends:

  • Egyptian Magic: My favourite moisturizer! Inspired by Ancient Egyptian folklore that recalls the existence of a miraculous skin cream, mixed with some modern science and research, it is true magic for the skin. Especially after a long weekend of belly dance shows and wearing heavy performance makeup... Your dance friend will be grateful forever for this Egyptian Magic!

  • Bledi Soap: Natural Black Moroccan Soap. This is the secret of all Egyptian hammams, so if you ever wondered what spells they use to make your skin so fresh and smooth, here it is! You can find bledi soap on Amazon or other international online stores, but the best option is to buy it in Egypt because it's at least 5-6 times cheaper than what international retailers offer it for. Save the name of Egyptian brand Nefertari in case you are travelling to Cairo soon!

  • Turmeric & Cranberry Face Mask: After trying this mask for the first time, I've realized that until that day I had no idea how face masks were supposed to work! It makes the skin so soft and smooth and it gives a healthy refreshed look to the face, which is so important in our crazy artistic life. :) Now I have trouble finding other good face masks, because everything is immediately compared to this one from Kiehl's.

Do you dream about removing your make up with a simple finger snap? Me definitely!!! Especially after a busy day of performances… I just wanna sleep! BUT removing your make up first and taking care of skin is essential for long-term beauty, and I’m sure you wanna have vibrant and healthy skin in 10, 20 and 40 years from now, don’t you?

Here is my typical post-shows skincare routine:

  • Step 1: Cherry foam cleanser from Tony Moly

  • Step 2: Micelle water for sensitive skin H2O from Bioderma

  • Step 3: Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Masque from Kiehls

  • Step 4: Egyptian Magic cream from Egyptian Magic

  • Step 5: Good night sleep!

Full list of my favourite skincare products is now available among Amazon recommendations!

What are you favourite beauty products that you can't imagine your life without? Share with me! Especially if they somehow related or inspired by Middle Eastern culture.
